Step 1: Connect Your Datasource
- Select connector type in the product connection flow.
- Enter required connection fields based on connector type.
- For CSV/Excel, upload file(s) first through secure upload flow.
Step 2: Validate and Preview
- Run test connection to verify credentials and network access.
- Browse available schemas/tables/files to confirm data coverage.
- Open preview to validate sample records and structure.
Step 3: Start Ingestion
Select target tables/items and start extraction. Ingestion runs through asynchronous processing so you can continue setup while jobs complete.
Tip: start with a narrow table/file subset, then scale coverage after first success.
Step 4: Activate Insights
- Use clean data outputs to create your first metric and chart.
- Pin dashboard cards and share with your workspace users.
- Track data quality checks and lineage for trust and auditability.
